Congratulations to Maryam Ali who has been chosen as this year’s winner of the Liam McCarthy Scholarship!
PCI College is delighted to announce that Maryam Ali has been named the recipient of the coveted 2025 Liam McCarthy Scholarship. This highly prestigious award recognises outstanding academic achievement, leadership potential, and a commitment to contributing positively to the field of counselling and psychotherapy.
Maryam Ali, a highly dedicated and promising student, was selected from a strong pool of applicants insightful application essay, and demonstrated passion for supporting mental well-being. Her application highlighted her strong understanding of therapeutic principles and a clear vision for her future impact within the profession.

The Liam McCarthy Scholarship is awarded annually to a student who demonstrates exceptional promise and potential within their studies at PCI College. The Scholarship will provide full fees for the successful candidate to complete our BSc (Honours) degree in Counselling & Psychotherapy, beginning in September 2025.
