Mindfulness and self-care are great practices to help us manage our anxiety and help us to make rational decisions during this time of uncertainty.

Mindfulness Workshop

Mindfulness is the practice of paying attention to the present moment, bringing awareness to the fore without judgement or interpretation. Mindfulness based practices include breathing exercises, guided mediations and stress reduction relaxation.

What will you learn?

This Mindfulness Workshop be experiential in its delivery. During the day the group will be guided through a sitting meditation, mindful yoga (very gentle and slow-moving), a body scan meditation and a lying down meditation. There will be a discussion on the science of Mindfulness and how it benefits but the main focus of this day is to immerse ourselves in the practice of Mindfulness. Participants will be asked to journal throughout the day and will be encouraged to participate in a group discussion with the intention of developing further insights into our own motivations and actions.
