Many counsellors may lose clarity on what it means to be a supervisee and often due to a busy workload, they may forget to reflect adequately on their experience in the clinic with their clients. The lack of time and space for such a reflective experience with peers often results in many supervisees finding themselves navigating their professional journey in relative isolation. Recognizing the significance of collaboration and shared insights, our workshop offers a dedicated space for professionals like you to forge connections, exchange experiences, and glean valuable lessons from peers.
This workshop is optimum for working counsellors who wish to reflect on their skills in clinical supervision and share with colleagues of their experiences and learn from others in an interactive way.
From tapping into a reservoir of varied experiences as supervisees, participants will gain valuable insights and actionable strategies to deepen their supervisory skills & effectiveness. Consequently, this heightened proficiency in supervision translates to elevated effectiveness in their roles as counsellors, positively impacting interactions with clients.
This collaborative environment not only helps professionals learn from their peers' experiences but also provides the benefit of expert perspectives addressing specific concerns in clinical supervision. From adeptly managing challenges that may arise in practice to addressing nuanced questions, this exchange of knowledge serves as a catalyst for the participants' ongoing growth and excellence in the counselling field.
