This workshop explores the risk factors which can impact mental health, the resulting dynamics and how issues become compounded.

The workshop will explore questions and themes including:

Does how we interact with one another have an impact on our well-being?
What are the essentials of healthy relationships?
What can counselling teach us about ourselves in relationship?
During the workshop, students will look at some classic concepts in how we relate to one another and tips on how to improve our daily interactions with those we care about.

Participants will enhance existing understanding and explore new ideas and techniques.
The aim of this workshop is to facilitate counsellors to work at greater depth with relational patterns and systems.

Qualification in Counselling, Psychotherapy or other helping professionals with therapeutic experience and students currently in professional training.


Antoinette Stanbridge

B.A. (Hons) Psychology (U.C.D); H.Dip. Counselling (U.C.C.) Middlesex University - Link Tutor


Antoinette is a full-time faculty lecturer at PCI College a therapist in private practise and member of IACP. She lectures across all modules and has a particular interest in Mental Health. Antoinette is a published writer in a range of publications and is a member of the Éisteach editorial board. Since setting up in private practice in 2001, she has been working with individuals, families and couples, Antoinette has found that many times clients present due to disruption and dysfunction in relating, whether at a conscious or subconscious level.
